One of the few pictures I have of the Steinbeck. Notice the multiple wheels to hold the reels and in the very middle the teeth that hold the film. The viewfinder (center under the script) works by illuminating the film and projecting it on the translucent surface (view finder screen). There is an armed light in the corner which is nesessary due to the fact you must see to pay attention to so many details at once.
