Stunt Underwear

The King sitting on his throne after a "gratuitous toilet dream sequence"  foreshadowed the ending to follow.  The decision to use a crown on the "throne" was congruent with the tone of the classic chorus bits in Mozart's Requiem. Also it was a bit of a visual joke to boot (porcelain throne, wearing a crown).  As silly as it sounds this was a fun exercise to understand how to rely on more of the camera and blocking to tell the story since there was literally no dialogue. I recommend this exercise to many beginners, that way when you combine all elements together in a feature, it will make the project stronger as a whole knowing how the individual parts work independently unto themselves.

The concept of "stunt underwear" was conceived because I was attempting to be funny, not  vulgar in any way. I used a pair of boxer briefs pinned up and secured with gaffers tape. They were the "stunt underwear".  There is no sense in nudity were it need not be and as strange as this overall concept was I wanted to keep it "G" rated potty humor.
