NO BUDGET FILM SCHOOL
OVERVIEW:
What is included in the NO BUDGET film school?
Resources, How-to's and necessary paperwork to get your project off the ground. The ideas and information that follows is based on personal experiences through trail and error, as well as research and some hand-me-down information. I encourage you to build off of what you find here and other resources to create your own style and manner within the process itself. Film and Media production is a discipline. It doesn't just happen overnight. But for now, if you cant afford School (have no budget) This is the place for you.
What good will knowing a few production jobs and terms do me?
A glossary of production terms is essential to communicate ideas effectively to all members of your crew. If you wish for whats in your head to be accurately displayed in front of an audience figure out how to communicate to your crew.
How do I begin making my film? What if I've already started my film?
For the purposes of this section I have broken the process down into five parts. Feel free to use any part. That's what its here for. Enjoy.
THE BASIC PARTS:
Depending on the project, there are a number of steps that need to be done in order to produce a solid product from start to finish. What are the steps in Shooting a film? Well that depends on the project, but certain steps are essential. The window of time for a typical production from start to finish varies. Most important thing is to start small for practice then move on to bigger things in increments. Think realistically in terms of scheduling and budgeting.
