WHAT IS:
Miniature aviation at its finest. LARKS is Lexington Aeronautic Remote Control Society. This Film was done done to Showcase the society and in the meantime get practice using the camera trailing objects with varying degrees of speed and distance.

PRODUCTION:
When I set out to make this film I had a certain amount of criteria in mind. First of all, I wanted to learn how to get better control the camera, second I wanted to try out different styles of editing to music. It was always my goal to complete this DVD from beginning to end totally with packaging and everything. It was a very good exercise trying to keep up with these model airplanes that moved faster than one would expect. For the most part using the zoom on any production tends to make it look less professional. But on Larks Across Murray it was necessary to maintain a close up of the flying vehicle while in motion. In every shot I paid particular attention to make sure that the use of the zoom for the most part was not detectable. In most instances it was a personal belief of mine at the time that if you can't tell that you're using a zoom, then you can use a zoom. DVD was complete with cover and a miniature paper airplane fastened to the interior clips of the DVD case in the place of what normally would be an insert.
