TJPARSONS LINKS
A BRIEF MESSAGE FOR THE LINKS THAT FOLLOW
Most modern web pages have done away with link pages in their format. For the most part, these are things of the past. I want to present to you a page of links that I believe you may find interesting and sometimes perhaps fulfilling in some respect. All links below are ones that I personally endorse and are congruent with themes contained on this page and some aligned personal beliefs, and pleasures.
Have fun, and I hope you find some of the stuff here as entertaining and or helpful as I did when I first found it.
Also if you have some film festivals you'd like me to include, drop me a line, I've love to add them.
Thanks,
TJPARSONS
Strasburg Flea Market

Category: RESOURCES
I will begin by by saying this is "the" most fun place to shop in Northern Virginia. Apart from being a central gathering point for antiques and collectibles in/near the Shenandoah Valley, It continually proves to be a fun outing for families, travelers passing through, vacationers and antique aficionados.
I put the Strasburg Flea Market, near the Strasburg Emporium on my list of treasure troves on my links page under resources because while filming several short features, I was able to authentically dress several sets and locations using pieces and props literally cutting my budget in half. This of course is a dream come true. I find the people helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to find you what you want.
As a repeat customer I am always surprised at what pops up in there and how far people will travel to make a special stop to look around and outfit their new home, vacation house, or just buy some really outstanding gifts. But I really can't blame them. This is the most reasonable antique/collectable dealer I have ever seen and for that alone you should pile everyone into the car and take a trip down - there is something for everyone - and it keeps getting better.

TOKYO PLASTIC

Category: FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT
- This is a vector flash site that I have frequented for many years. The only way to understand what Tokyo plastic is is to experience it first hand. The main draw for me is the animation "drum machine" which has been a source of meditation inspiration at the end of a stressful day.

Total Wellness Essentials

Total Wellness Essentials - Understanding the machine that we call the human body is a must. I usually watch tutorials on how to work complex programs and Filmmaking equipment, but the human body is one of the most complex machines of all. It seems natural that one would entertain structure and tutoring in the art of balancing mind and body. This man was the first person to get me to understand the direct relationship between nutrition and spiritual / mental efficiency. I've had the distinct privilege to see this organization grow from its infancy, and I can speak to the personal character of the owner/trainer as well as the thought behind the program. In a world where we are bombarded everyday by too much conflicting and confusing information Wellness Coach and ACSM Certified Personal Trainer Steven Franklin will set the record straight and help you navigate to a state of well being and longevity.
VIRTUAL REALITIES
http://www.vrealities.com/
Category: RESOURCES
I am so happy to have found this link 10 years after I had lost it. This site houses the largest collection of Virtual Reality hardware, concepts, and more. I relish the fact that this may be discovered by others to experiment with- to provide the future with Entertainment with unforeseen applications. It's fun to browse just to see what is possible on a commercial level .... and what could be done with some imagination and just a smidge of technical know-how and inspiration.
Wayside Theatre

Category: FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT
- I openly support the theatre. I highly recommend visiting this website, and plan perhaps a dinner date or a family outing around some of the finest entertainment in the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. I hear many positive reviews of performances from many walks of life; which to me speaks highly of its caliber.
